ΑμεΑ - Panchian Association for the Disabled

In 2023, the Panchiaki Korais Society proudly donated the construction of a new greenhouse at the AmeA facility in Neochori, Chios.

The facility is called “Γεφυρα” or Bridge to signify that it is intended not only to rehabilitate or convalesce those with disabilities but to help them develop skills to integrate them and become productive members of the community at large.

On August 4, 2023 we were graciously hosted by the administrators and staff and were given a tour of the facility and the greenhouse which is almost ready for use. What was especially heartwarming was the appreciation shown and being told that anyone who has equipment like this is “ευλογημένοι” or blessed.

We commend President, Sofia Michala and everyone at the Panchian Society AmeA for their hard work in supporting those with special needs. We hope to continue our support in the future and encourage everyone to learn more about and support AmeA.
