On November 16, 2025, The Panchiaki "Korais" Society will co-host with the Chian Federation the 113th Anniversary of the Liberation of Chios. A memorial service and doxology will be held following the divine liturgy at the Zoodohos Peghe Church in the Bronx.

Afterward, a Cultural Event and Reception will be held in the Church’s Fellowship Hall with a presentation (in English) “The Balkan Wars and the Liberation of the Aegean Islands by Dr. Fevronia K. Soumakis, Incoming Director, Center for Byzantine and Modern Greek Studies, Queens College.

The Program is Co-hosted by the Chian Federation and the Panchiaki Korais Socity. Food and beverages will be served. Admission is Free.
