Dear Friends of the Panchiaki Korais Society,

Following the wonderful success of its return in 2026, the Panchiaki Korais Society is proud to announce that applications are now being accepted for the 2027 Miss Chios Legacy Ambassador Program!

Last year, we breathed new life into a cherished tradition, transforming the former Miss Chios pageant into a meaningful program celebrating cultural pride, leadership, community involvement, and the preservation of our Chian heritage.

Our inaugural year exceeded expectations. We proudly recognized Demeter-Despina (Demi) Stathakopoulos as our 2026 Miss Chios Legacy Ambassador, joined by Stamatia Tsamblakos and Georgia Georgioulis as fellow ambassadors. These remarkable young women represented our community with grace, enthusiasm, and pride.

Who Can Apply?

Young women ages 16 to 26 of Chian descent who share a passion for their heritage, culture, and community are encouraged to apply.

What Does the Program Offer?

• Cultural Ambassadorship: Represent Chios at cultural celebrations, community gatherings, and the Greek Independence Day Parade.

• A Journey to Chios: The selected Miss Chios Legacy Ambassador will receive a round-trip airfare allowance and a one-week hotel stay in Chios to reconnect with her ancestral homeland.

• Leadership and Community Engagement: Develop leadership skills, build relationships, and inspire younger generations.

• Heritage Connection: Celebrate the history, traditions, language, and values that unite our Chian community.

The Miss Chios Legacy Ambassador Program is not a traditional beauty pageant. It recognizes young women for their character, accomplishments, enthusiasm, and commitment to carrying our heritage forward.

We encourage families and friends to share this opportunity with eligible young women. Whether born in Chios or generations removed from the island, every young woman of Chian descent has a story worth celebrating.

Join us in building upon the wonderful success of 2026 as we inspire the next generation of Chian ambassadors!

Together, we will continue to honor our past, celebrate our present, and inspire the future.

With warm regards,

Panchiaki Korais Society
Preserving Our Heritage. Inspiring Future Generations.
