On Sunday, November 15th, 2020, the Panchiaki “Korais” Society and the Chian Federation commemorated the 108th Anniversary of the Liberation of Chios at the Archangel Michael Church in Port Washington, New York. After church we enjoyed a small reception in the church fellowship hall. COVID may have presented difficulties this year, but the liberation of our beloved island is too important to our history not to recognize this year as we do every year.

Thank you to the Archangel Michael community who were excellent hosts and also took great care to maintain a safe environment for our attendees.
